Every year the Rabbitohs are talked up. New players, better tracksuits, new coach, fancier logo, more and more bandwagon fans.
Nothing seems to be working.
So, because we care, here are 5 ways to improve Souths:
1. Get Russell Crowe to wear his Maximus costume to home games. Come on, there’s no point in giving the thumbs down in a hoodie.
2. Go back to the old flat logo. The new one is too cool. The Bunnies always had a simple, humble logo and it served them well. The new 3D version looks like James Cameron was involved.
3. Bring back the cheerleaders. They bring…um…good cheer.
4. What’s with the black rabbit car stickers? You don’t see black Tigers or black Knights stickers do you? It’s all a bit too clever.
5. Beat the rivals. Look, if you’re only going win one game all year, fine. But for crying out loud, beat your biggest rivals! That means the Dragons and Roosters. Losing 40-zip to the Warriors means nothing if you can stick it to those guys.
